How to use
Scoop out a small handful of the wax from the tin*. Knead quickly into a small ball, slightly expand then place onto the area of the skin that needs waxing. Press the wax firmly, then pick the end of the wax and pull briskly off of the skin, against the direction of hair growth. Repeat if necessary.
In warm weather the wax can become sticky when handled, either cool it in the refrigerator or take a new portion. Rinse the skin with water after use. As the wax is 100% natural made from sugar, honey and lemon, it will easily dissolve.
*In winter months the wax will be more solid, so the tin will need warming. Placing on a radiator will help.
Key ingredients include:
HONEY - Moisturises, protects and softens the skin. In traditional pharmacopoeia, it is also used for its healing properties
SUGAR - In addition to its exfoliating and softening effect, sugar also has antiseptic properties and contributes to healing.
Honey hair removal dates back to ancient Egypt and is still the most effective and gentle method. The caramel does not stick to the skin but coats each hair, pulling out the hair without bruising the epidermis. Finally, as it is a much cooler wax, it causes less irritation or redness.
Sucrose, Aqua (Water), Mel (Honey), Citric Acid (Lemon).
